Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner Refill Cartridge - 34 oz for Wood Floors | Safe & Effective Cleaning Solution for Home, Office & Commercial Use

My complaint is not with this specific product but with the Bona mop itself. It leaks! I purchased this refill thinking my old bottle had sprung a leak somewhere. But even with this brand new refill, the mop leaks! You can see in the photos. I have to remove the bottle everytime I store the mop. Otherwise the entire bottle of solution will leak out leaving a mess. I've seen other reviews with the same issue. Only having this mop for two years, I question whether Bona mops are built to last. And since I don't want to be purchasing a new mop every two years, I'm going to switch to a different Mop brand.I have noticed gradual leaking from the bottle, with two consecutive bottles from my most recent purchase. The leaking is gradual, and since the product evaporates quickly, a spill on the floor didn't become noticeable - just wetness along the top plastic side of the mop assembly. An entire bottle leaked itself empty before I noticed it. I am now removing the bottle after use (it operates okay when in use). Is this a defect due to a new design of the bottle? This never happened before with the older bottles. I notice that now the bottles have the liquid within an inner plastic bag, which was not the case before. I don't want to give up on this product quite yet, as I like how it works. But I may have to look for an alternative if this continues and proves to be yet another case of defective products coming with newer flawed design.The Bona Product Line is convenient and easy to use for general surface cleaning, but if you are looking for a product that will clean wood floors that have the "scraped" look or those that have more surface indentations, the ingredients are quite gentle and the microfiber mop head is too smooth to penetrate the cracks and crevices just below the surface of the floor. I wish they made the microfiber mop heads in white, so you could see just how much dirt they are actually picking up.Best cleaner for wood floors. The only thing I hate is after refilling a cartridge once or twice it starts to indent on the sides and has trouble clicking into its holder and doesn't spray right. I'm guessing it has something to do with pressure changes from the spray nozzle.Love this stuff. It lasts forever in the mop/spraying system. Works great on our hardwood floors and even removed some scuffs without me even needing to scrub! Little bummed that I saw it cheaper at Lowes (usually it's the other way around) but it's my go-to cleaner for our bamboo floors.A larger refill that fit our older BONA mop. Unfortunately, discovered it wasn't our old refill that was leaking, it was our mop head so had to purchase a whole new one.The mop is the best one out there for hardwood floors. I bought a house with dark floors and have a white dog-- tough to keep clean. I do a quick dry mop and then use the bona mop that squirts the cleaner in front of it. I think you may be able to buy large containers of this at places like Home Depot as well and do your own refill. One of these lasts for a few months so haven't tried that yet.I love these products for my hard wood floors but it sometimes leaves streaks. Not sure if I'm doing things wrong. I have 3000 sq ft of hardwood so need to keep multiple mop pads of both cleaner and dust mop pads. Haven't done the polish yet but will in next few weeks.
