I can tell by the pattern of the brushes that this will work great on the fine dust that cannot be picked-up by rolling over the floor with our upright Dyson. The Dyson alone does fine picking-up bigger debris, but it's not brushing the floor. This fitting for the hose and wand are perfect for "dusting" the floor.Our model is the DC15 which is NOT listed in the compatibility list. Seeing that Dyson sells fittings that fit the DC14 and DC15, it was a fair assumption that it would fit. But the seller would save a lot of questions by just posting the size of the inside diameter.This item will fit any vacuum with a wand outside diameter of 1-1/8 inches as shown in my pictures attached. If the seller would include the inside diameter in the description, it will avoid items being returned.I actually bought the used-returned option and it is in new and unused condition other than the box having been ripped open. Very glad I made the purchase - it'll make cleaning my new Stainmaster Waterproof Luxury Vinyl Planking much easier and faster.Adding this edit: After submitting the review I found the package included a 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inch adapter which allows its use on the more standard sized vacuum wands (my shop vac for example). So again, I don't know why with these two size options, other reviews say it didn't fit their models. Unless maybe the rechargeables are yet a different size... altogether.
