The "novelty" does its function ok. I have several issues with the design though. First it is made from plastics that can contain phthalates. Because the device is a "novelty" it has no clear defined use by law, and so by law doesn't need to meet any kind of safety standards. Like not being made from plastics that can leave a burning sensation hours after use. Also the device is one piece. It does not come apart for easy cleaning.So be aware that anything labeled a "novelty" even if it says "phthalates free". Can and probably does contain them (yes they can lie no one legally regulates "novelties").Only elastomeres and 100% silicone are soft products that are free of toxins in the adult toy industry(unless of course your allergic to silicone. Then you should buy hard plastics, elastomers, or glass/metal toys).If it says novelty and isnt made from one of the above mentioned materials assume it contains toxic plastics.
