I purchased this product to remove soot/smoke discoloration from the stone around my fireplace and hearth which is the oirpose of the product. It is a bit lighter but not gone and the discoloration is still very noticeable.Great cleaner but bottles were falling apartPlease do not purchase this product for chimney creosote removal. Our chimney sweep recommended this product and to physically spray this solution on the firewood before burning. Our family room was full of a chemical odor that required us to leave the room, close the fireplace doors, and to open the windows to air out the room. Not a good product for this problem.
