This chair has been a life saver. I got it just to use in the shower for my husband. This past week, he had emergency surgery. At the same time, we been having the bathroom remodeled so he can get in with this chair. Due to the surgery and construction, he was unable to use the bathrooms in our house (one too small, one without a toilet). I sit this chair beside the bed for a toilet and I'm also using it as a wheelchair to move him around the house (since the construction has taken over the house, his power chair is too big). It's not a chair you would want to sit in all day (due the seat being a little hard) but it is a very handy!
