Ok label is updated but still the same product my family has used for years before my father passed away him and my mother owned a family carpet cleaning janitorial business and I have helped them over the years unfortunately so serious issues occurred when someone stole 122,000.00 from my family’s banking account and other issues my family lost there business and my mother and father were honest people never asked for help or stole a dime from anyone that business is long gone since 1998 then my father passed away February 11th 2019 ten days after my birthday and that las great thing he did was bring me home from North Carolina out of an abussive domestic violence engagement and more but back to the product it’s a carpet cleaner shampoo that can be used with multiple types of shampoo machines from industrial to residential it is concentrated so a mixture or water per proper measurements and it will be ready to use this is high traffic detergent it will clean but won’t create miracles so hold your expectations because depending on your carpets condition and stains and more will determine how well this product works it will not I repeat not create miracle for badly severely neglected carpets and stains of all kinds of sorts but it will clean well on normal wear and stains it has a nice scent to it and softens the carpet for best results maintain carpet every month or six months or as needed now here is what’s really good about this product if used to shampoo automotive cloth seats and carpets floor mats and rv motorhome furniture excellent now for laundry detergent it is not labeled as a laundry detergent but my family used this product for years and tested it’s uses for table clothes drapes curtains bedding of all sorts pet bedding and yes ladies and gentlemen even regular laundry works great something the product Zep manufactures won’t tell you because it’s known as a carpet cleaner but have many many proof or all sorts of uses but my family personally tested this product for years ok all kinds of things delicate enough to clean a wedding dress or prom dress tuxedo ties and more do I still buy this product and use it yes I definitely do and recommend this product because it does more then what it’s claims and made for thank you zep for all the products my family has used for years and will continue to use and TYSVM Amazon for caring a product I love and is dear to my heart because my memories of my father my mother and me bonded together in a family business using this product and my love for my family became a household name for us god bless you all amen sincerely djmaddmonkeyI've purchased this twice now, well 2 variations of this product but both worked equally "well" first off I'll say this, you can't beat the price! The smell is fine, not over powering or bad, I use it in my Bissell carpet cleaner and it doesn't get too sudsy like a lot of others do and initially it really does a great job, we have 5 BIG dogs, 3 cats, 2 kids and my husband and I we're all housebroken with rare "accidents" but it does happen from time to time and there's a LOT of indoor/outdoor living so my carpets being lighter colored definitely need cleaning every few months or so depending on how much rain we get each season and this stuff makes my carpet look great, for a few days which is where my lower stars come in. I've used more expensive brands that this brand initially appears to do just as good the difference is the longevity of it, with my favorite expensive brand my carpet looks great for way longer at least a couple of months so I use that during nice weather months and during rainy seasons I use this since in a week it's gonna be covered in muddy foot prints and dirty dog spots anyway ? so if you're like me and have to glean your carpet frequently this stuff is great for in-between cleaning lol I'm not sure why the carpet doesn't stay clean long after using zep compared to other brands except it must leave a heavy residue which would cause dust and dirt to stick to and I've tried even cleaning the carpet with the solution and then going over it with just plain water and even tried going over it 2 or 3 times with plain water which does help some but who wants to spend 8 hours going over the same small living room anyway I hope this helps someone and in my opinion this stuff is a great choice for someone with a lot less traffic and furbabies in their home and is definitely a great option for someone who is moving out of a rental and needs yo clean the carpet or for landlords who are cleaning before a new tenantIt gets rid of stains but not the tough ones, I would still buy this as for the price it's very good!It works. It's soap that doesn't foam up for the scrubby machine because my house is full of pets and mud and spills and I prefer it cleaned.First time using my carpet cleaner today. Decided to purchase this cleaner because of the reviews on YouTube from car detailers. Just got done cleaning my multi level carpeted cat stand, and 3 throw rugs. Did an amazing job. I could not believe the dirt this lifted out! The bottle indicates this is for spot cleaning only. I don't really understand why. Perhaps it leaves a residue that will attract dirt later on? If it does, I'll post a corrected review. It does foam a lot. The first time, I used 2 oz of the product and then filled the cleaner's tank with warm water up to the fill line. It foamed like crazy, so it took me a long time to finish filling the tank. Second time, I was smarter. I filled the tank with water, then added the cleaner. Some people indicate the product doesn't smell good. I don't understand that. It has a very light and pleasant clean smell and does not leave a lingering scent. If your carpet is clean, you don't need any strong scent to act as a cover up.It didn’t work like it said and it was not very tough on high traffic areas with stains. Disappointed ☹️Bought a 20+ year old car from a firmer barista that lived her coffee but not her car! After 2 weeks of shampooing finally got most of the coffee stains from the stained rugs and seats. They went from black to beigeGood cleaner. Let it dry after 15 min, and then add another layer and circular rub out after a minute. Might have to rinse and repeat. Doesn’t discolor carpet unless it’s dirty all over and in that case put in carpet cleaner machine.
